We've been trying to get the gang to add to the blog every once in a while - we were lucky enough to have Andrew McNealus, "aspiring film maker", create a little somethin-somthin for all you Panther fans out there!

We had a great camp this year with a ton of excellent skiing/training. I'm pumped to be a part of this group. Lots of fun + fast skiing + more McLovin films = happy coaches!

enjoy the flick and enjoy the warm temps because winter is coming as soon as we get back! fingers crossed!

Christine Schozer at Vail on Wednesday

Tuesday we had an exceptional training session at Vail. The new snowmaking system and the effort put in by the ski club and mountain to get the hill ready is impressive.
Wednesday and Thursday were 7 am sessions at Loveland where we continued to refine our GS skills.
Thursday afternoon the team divided up cooking responsibilities to provide a delicious Thanksgiving dinner.
Friday is another 7 am session followed by an afternoon session of slalom. We will test out the water injected trail for both sessions. Rumor has it, the injected snow is slicker than an ice skating rink.... literally.

The crew is sharpening their edges now.

First year Bryan Shpall rips a sweet daffy.

We were fortunate to have a few days of relatively uneventful travel and everyone was on the hill today and ready to ski.
We had two separate sessions of drill progressions that brought the guys and girls back to fundamentals and good technical skiing.
Sun and moderate temperatures added to a great first day.

6:15 lift for coaches and 7 am lift for athletes at A-Basin tomorrow.

Good stuff. Let's see a backscratcher in the next one. Preferably wearing a pair of Roffe's and rear-entries.

THE BEAR

Continuing in the tradition of "fun friday," the team ended last week with an epic game of speed ball, followed by a med. ball workout fondly called "the bear."

With Colorado camp just around the corner, we know we need to keep working hard in the gym to have a successful time on snow.

The team has been doing a great job staying positive and healthy - AND they're getting their work done to boot! way to go!
